I have finish painting the top end of the bike and wanted to start on the side covers. What do I do about the stator cover which is plastic and the 2-cycle oil pump cover . Should I use plastic paint since it is plastic or can I use engine paint since its on the engine?

I guess I'll use the engine paint. It does say other engine surfaces. Rust-Oleum® Engine Enamel creates a smooth finish and is formulated for use on automotive engines and other automotive surfaces which reach intermittent temperatures up to 500°F (260°C)..

My pump cover was faded pretty bad so i just rubbed some oil on it and it turned black again, cheap cosmetics. And how did you get that registered trademark symbol????

get some bulldog adhesion premotor in airisol form from an automotive paint shop, give the plastic parts one coat of this then any paint will stick great.
