How to mount my filter.

Dam that thing looks crushed. It looks like it needs a cap for the end to hold it in and mount it.
I never used a K&N filter before though, if that is what it is.

yeah looks like the end cap is missing, hope you got it for a good price, i'd trace that out on aluminum and cut me out a top, then silicon it in place and bolt 'er on

I have a vito's air filter, same exact design as what you have. Honestly that filter looks really beat up, and you are missing the top cover which holds it on and seals the top, just like in the pic yb posted. IMO I wouldn't try running that filter even if you can get the top, the bends in it could have caused it to open up more and spots and could allow excess dirt to pass through.
You can get the same style filter on ebay brand new for like $18 plus shipping, the pic for the auction is exactly what I have and mine is holding up great.

I wouldnt have spent anything on that. It looks like garbage. Just go on motosport or RMATV.com and get foam filter for $6
