How to eliminate parking brake ? 2003

I believe theres a plate you need to purchase for the rear caliper. Then just remove the cable.
I did that part , is there anything to do with the switch that's located on the clutch, I removed the whole handle and now have a after market, it's runs fine until I put it in gear
I'm not sure. I never owned a 03 up blaster. Im sure someone on here will give you some more insight. I thought that's all it took.
I got it , it's running for the first time for me, the main jet I forgot to tighten it, it rattled out. This is my first 03, learning the wires finally. Thanks man!
Unplug the park brake switch from the wire harness. Make sure the green/yellow wire doesn't touch ground. The design is that when the park brake is on, the switch closes, connecting the green/yellow wire to ground, which activates a rev limiter in the CDI so you can't go 50 MPH with the park brake on and burn up the rear brake.
yup unplug the wire completely at both ends
follow it under the front nose and unplug it,then it will not activate the tors
or you can just delete the tors all together
then either buy the plate that cover the p.brake mechanism
or just leave it there for know
and take off the cable attached to the brake
