how to converting 01 hood to 05 hood

i am wantin to get the new syle hood for my blaster and i was wondering how to get the headlight were it fits in the new style hood instead of on the handelbars

your going to have to make a bracket, for the hood, and then your going to have to mod up something that will hold the headlight in place

the headlight mounts to the hood and then you mount the hood to your frame.

cause i remember someone saying that there needed to be something the held the headlight?

um thats what i thought. thats how it looked on the diagram from yamaha too.

alright, i wouldn't know but i thought someone said that. anybody have a picture of there 03-06 hood with the headlight in there?

theres a bracket thats welded on the front of the frame to hold the headlight in place. The hood just fits around it, but doesn't actually hold it
