how to clean !

hi guys ! have an 06 se yamaha blasterB) .. blAck-black should be shiny and it aint any tips on how to get it lookiNg new again? oh and engine has a few scratches and the plastic has a few scrapes and grazez o does the bullbar.X(. any idea how t get the bike looking new from engine to swing arm to plastics ????

Soap. Water. Sponge. Just kidding
Your like me, i love my stuff looking good.
Spray down your ENTIRE bike with purple power degrease, wait 5 minutes then wash down. Get a bucket and some car soap and get everything all wet
Dry it off. Get some orange glow, or armor all and spray it on the bike. Get a rag and start polishing that biotch up. A pressure washer helps too to get caked on mud off.

The best thing I found so far is to buff the plastic with Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish.It works great to on your plastic dull car headlights.

Ive tryed the mothers on my plastic and the results sucked. It actually made it worse. If your plastics are REALLY dull, stop trying to cover it up with oil. Take them to a body shop or do it yourself. Add flex agents to clear coat and your set. YUP just clear coat your plastics.

i have clear coated my plastics before i painted them and it did make a big diffrenceI:I

Just make sure you do it right or youll have orange peel galore on the stock dyed plastics!

i get some tire shine and wipe it on the plastics and then take a dry paper towel and wipe it off and they will come out looking almost new.i do this after everytime i wash mine

I wash, wax then tire shine everything. lol just look at my pictues in march botm entires.

il just get something that shines plastic,as for the engine etc,il use degrease ..

i do that but i dont wipe it off .. wouldnt the shine go away if you wipe off?

i have a 2006 se blaster too i just use car wash and armor all but mine is almost new was bought in 08 as a leftover
