How To Change Transmission Oil

the bolt head is stripped or are the threads in the bottom of the case stripped?

I know this is a really old thread but I was wondering if I could use either of these to change the transmission oil with. The Polaris gearcase fluid says it is a friction reducing formula. Not sure if that is what’s considered a friction modifier. The Kawasaki is just 4 stroke engine oil, no modifiers. Thanks in advance.

DO NOT use any oil with friction modifiers or say reduced friction. Or high mileage.
The Kawi oil you’ll have to read the bottle closely. It MUST say “wet clutch compatible” Some newer 4s machines have separate engine and trans oil. Play it safe, go through this thread and find a recommended oil. I personally use She’ll Rotella T-4 in everything. 2s 4s , lawnmowers.

FYI, any oil that says Grade SM (or less) detergent or non-detergent will work.

I just blew up pic, I didn’t see the tab/ITV on it, however I can’t read the fine print on the back.
