How much truth in this?

Its hard to pick a good engine builder to go with when they all know whats up! Sicivicdude has the plan though...im just gonna let someone do all the work that way i know its done right & dont have to worry about it because honestly, i hate throwing $$$ away! Guess ill start calling around today & see who can give me a better deal on a complete build!

Girlfriends uncle has a 94 blaster. Hes had it since like.. 2002. Its been ridden hard every year, multiple times a year, has stock oil injection, Boyesson Reeds, and a DG pipe (yeah I know, pretty much stock), hes never has to mess with jetting (it rides at ALL altitudes we take it to), and it always just starts, and runs. Previous owners set it up properly, and he hasnt had to mess with it.

Its been the most reliable quad hes ever owned.

Blasters only work as well as their owners. If you got one, thats stock, and just left it alone, it would probably run quite awhile.

Guys who mod their blasters, who do it right, still have good reliability and performance. Guys who dont know what theyre doing and cut corners blow sh*t up.

Learn your machine, understand how it all works, and you will be fine with it. If you DONT have an aptitude for this sort of stuff, you probably will find yourself in a hard place with a blaster.
