how much am I worth?

Hey guys, haven't frequented here in quite awhile. I'm wondering what you guys think my blaster is worth. I'm throwing around the idea of selling it because I need money for other projects.

I went through this motor and it is very clean. It doesn't leak oil or smoke abnormally much.

The list of things I have done to it are as follows. It has been professionally ported by FLOTEK performance. It has Wiseco piston and rings. I just fixed the kickstart. It has an aftermarket clutch and basket in it, I cannot remember what brand, but I remember I did not skimp on price. I just replaced the transmission in it, it shifts flawlessly now. It has a Power Pros pipe and silencer. One of the best exhaust systems you can get for a Blaster. It has 22 inch Kenda Klaw tires with Douglass aluminum rims in the back. I would say they have about 85-95% tread left on them. They still grip very well. It has a Keihin 36mm carburetor on it. I just put a new axle in it and new rear bearings with it. The only thing I haven't replaced is the front wheel bearings and the crank. When I put the transmission in it I measured the crank and everything was within spec.I know I am missing something but at the moment I cannot recall.

Yeah the thing runs awesome, no problems otherwise, top end only has a couple hours on it. I just need the money for a banshee project, otherwise I wouldn't be wanting to sell it. Thanks for your opinions, I thought somewhere around 1300 is what I really want to get out of it.

well, it depends on where u live, check ur local craigslist, it would go for 1000 round here, a 240 one goes for 1300 round here, if urs seems to be better than the ones on ur local craigslist set the price slightly higher then them, don't set it rediculously high, u will never sell a quad that way, a stock 06 blaster will not go for 2300, even though a few guys near my house seem to think they will, urs seems like u'd sell it pretty quick for 1000

around here if it has anything that anit stock beside like a pipe and reeds or small things like that it goes way down in vaule around here ud get like 800 or 1000

I've seen decent Blasters on Craigslist around my area for $500. Just depends on where you are. I bought mine for $500 and most of what I have done is cosmetic.

i wouldnt take below 1500 for it thats just me all the money u have into it aint just for the next person and the stuff aint free. ive got about 2500 in mine and i guarantee i could do the same thing with mine and people would say aww maybe a 1000.....yeah right ask what u want for it and stick to it dont just give it away

Ok, thanks guys, I think I'm gonna ask about 1000 for it, thats about how much I have in it, I only bought it for 100 bucks in the first place so. Thanks for your input.

Id say a thousand. Keep in mind, you very rarely, if ever get back what you put in. Think its bad with four wheelers, try putting ten thousand into a car and only being able to get half back for it. I see it all the time in my business. Just the way it is. Good luck with the sale.

around where i live 1000-1400 tops. if u cl it start i little higher than what u are wanting so that way if some one trys to talk u down work it down slowly in price to what u want out of it. this way u will not take that much of a loss on it. poeple will always try and talk u down on stuff its a mind game with some people good luck man.

I'd ask 1200-1300 for it becuase most will low ball you, I'd be happy with a 1000.

Thanks guys for all your input, but all I'm seeming to get are people wanting to trade for stuff. I just got an offer today to trade it for a 1987 firebird. Ive gotten offered a 1995 1500 GMC truck, a 2001 dirtbike, a snowmobile, a 1994 ford explorer of which I already have 2. I just want cash. Im throwing around the idea of parting it out. How much do you guys think this could go for parted out? It has some aftermarkets but not a whole lot. Thanks.

better off just selling it as a whole blaster parts are a dime a dozen keep reposting on craigslist someone will come along and want it.
