I think the big blinged out suvs are gay, but everybody has their own opinions. I just don't see the use in owning a utility vehicle that most likely will never see any real utility use because you gotta be careful that you don't dent it, scratch the paint, get it dirty, or scuff the rims. My ford escort saw more off-road action than 99.99% of all navigators ever produced. My old truck can go faster, tow more, gets better fuel mileage, will go more places in 2wd than a navigator will go in 4 wheel, and I don't look like some rich prick while driving it. Plus, as alan jackson put it, "there's somethin women like about a pickup man".

Yeah, good points there (sorta the same reason I had a van with a couch in the back lol), but you get the same thing out of an ordinary suv, for half the price, right? Being that the navigator, in all reality, isn't much different at all than a ford expedition, (just like the cadillac escilade is just a glorified suburban), it seems like you're just paying all that extra money for the high-end name and different styling.
I don't mean any offense to any of you guys that are into these things, my hillbilly ass just isn't grasping this trend I guess. What I REALLY don't get is what I see every time I drive through my buddy's development. A navigator and an expedition all riced out like some teenager's honda civic with body kits, dumb looking spoilers and hood scoops, big rims, and lowered. Just all-out backwards looking machines.

I never had trouble getting girls with my "low class" cars. Maybe it's because I go for the country girls though, I can't stand the "girly girl" type that just wants to go to the mall and shop every day. I've had a mustang, a pimped out van, a rice burner, my sports car, a lowered s-10, and strangely the biggest chick magnet i've had, to date, was my rusty 74 chevy 1/2 ton with straight exhaust. I'm not picking up the toothless type that you speak of either, I guess ladies just love country boys
