I just went to see how much it would cost me to have my cases split, resealed, new main bearings, and a gasket kit would cost me to have installed and they told me 60 dollars a hour I didnt think this was this bad untill he told me it would prolly take him 5 to 6 hours to do this job is it just me or does this seem way to long I was personally thinking 2 to 3 hours tops plus on top of it I have pulled the motor already and have the gaskets and rings also so that should save me a lil money from them having to order them but anyways just the labor time is what I am wondoring about, tell me how long you guys think this would take.

you gotta remember there trying to make money and its not theres so theres no hurry for them

5 to 6 hrs! Did the guy just graduate from engine building school? That sounds a little long to me! Labor shouldn't cost you more then $150.00

yea true I could but I prolly would end up f*cking something up I would just rather have the shop do it just dont want to pay 6 hours worth of labor I think that is a joke im just gonna have to find someone else to do it

its gay, shops around here charge that much time too. acualy, except my co op. place called Bondi Engines, there acualy the sh*t. the son owns the sleds/atvs/dritbikes and machining business and the parents own the car shop. only him and "Hammer" work their. its sick id love to own a shop like that. that is my dream job.
