hey guys do you think 30$ bucks for a used cobra pipe is good. How good are the cobra pipes is it going to be better than the stock pipe.Or should i just keep running the stock pipe.:-D

so ya i guess i will grab you guys think it will change the color of the plug.I was also wondering is the FMF powercore2 pipe is better than a cobra pipe i can get a fmf for 110$ bucks online.

i know its like apples to oranges.. but i had a cobra pipe on my 85 honda 200x and loved it

the 200 x was a great bike....you guy's pretty much owe the blaster class to it. it is what started the whole 200 cc atv thing. also you will see in a lot of the rulebooks that it states "200 CC AIR COOLED" thats because people started sleeving down 250r s to race in the class, air cooled was put in do keep the sleeved down destroked water cooled bikes out. they came out to 213 cc's which was the aboslute limit for a 200 cc class given the allowance for standard boring. the built blaster still had a good power to weight ratio against them though.

i remember my buddy who rode cross country hare scrambles would always complain how unfair it was that the 250r's would run smaller bores and wax the blaster class ,has been many years now

i don't think i would have to do port work just a better set of reeds.I have seen lots of bikes with aftermarket pipes and still stock port sizes and they work excellent.I should be all right i will check out the plug color that will tell if its to lean or rich.

the blaster could wax them...but it wasnt cheep, basically had a full time engine builder/tuner constantly dedicated, running insane egts. guy I had was paul leary, he actually did the motors for racetechs 125 team foir a couple years. everything was done on paper first, math double checked, work done , flowbenched, done again etc...

he my buddy said that pipe gave his blaster 8 to 10 more mph and he said the sound will make a fmf sound quiet.I told my buddy no way it really made your blaster go that much.man i got to weld that pipe on and see what happens

No way it gives with that much horsepower and i bet my fmf pipe is louder! :)

well we will see i guna get a db test to see how much louder it is you should see how much db your bike lol that would be sweet.
