i have been thinking about buying a hotrods +4mm stroker crank for my blasty and need to know how to mill the head and cases +2mm (or +4mm not sure) for it to fit if i do get it. while i'm in there i plan on putting in new bearings and stuff as well. i have worked on plenty of motors but never done a stroker and am not familiar with blaster motors. i'm wanting to learn more about them and get mine fixed up to outrun my buddies and all that good stuffI:I thanks for any help.

i have a ported cylinder sitting in my room that i got off of my buddy that i was going to put on during the process. and do i absolutely have to take it somewhere to get it done?

i would just send the whole thing to the builder to have them trench the cases, cut the head, and adjust the ports for the longer stroke

unless you have a lathe and know how to properly redesign the head, you shouldn't do it yourself.

do you have any idea of about how much he would charge to do it? i'm on a budget and if i can't afford a stroker i'm going to try to find some other goodies for the blasty instead.

work on the suspension and brakes first....

/\/\/\/\ exactly !!!!!!!!!
all the power in the world aint worth sh*t if you cant control or stop it !!!!

1. suspension, stock sucks
2. hydro brakes, unless you already have an 03+
3. pipe silencer/ filter
4. reeds/intake/carb
5. porting/head mod to match all of the above, from ken oconnor, of course !!!!!!
6. stroker crank during the porting if $$$ allow
7. la sleeve 240 kit if $$$ are really plentiful

just my opinion, of course !!!!!!

can't afford a 240 kit... i said ideas for 200 or cheaper lol

Yeah, I know. Just figured for future knowledge. Honestly, I'd go for some used parts. Find some nice used ones and save some money. You'd get more bang for the buck.
