how do you change the jet?

how do you guys change your main jet out? i ussually just unscrew the clamps holding it, unscrew the slide, then just turn the carb upside down while its still in the blaster and take the float bowl off then change out the jet. anyone else do it like this?

i never thought of doing that. i usually just take the carb off. is it relativly easy to do with it still on the quad though?like trying to fit tools in there?

very easy to do if your just changing out the jets or something like that,

i used to do my stock carb like that, my 34pj and most of the larger keihins have a drain nut that allows access to the main jet by just turning the carb enuf to see what you're doing

ok good im not the only one who does that, i though everyone would say no dont do that you will break it or something like that lol
