my axel bearing are shot and im getting some new ones but i need to know how to get the axel off any help?

ok u take off all the sh*t on the axle and put it on like a stand so the back is of the ground and take a peace of wood and put it on the right side and beat it out to the left and then just take somethen like a chisle and beat out ur bearings and then put the good ones back in but wipe it out and put new greas in there also a good idea is to drill and tap in ur own greas fitting witch i forgot to
