i need some help on getting sponsered and you guys allways give me good advice so what can ya tell me?

Send in a resume to the companies, most have forms to fill out on their website. SixSixOne will sponsor just about anyone. If you get one from them, you are also sponsored by their partners. Tag metals, sunstar, and a couple others that I forget.

first off, do you race, you are not gonna get sponsored if you don't race, also, if you race, do you win??? a sponsor won't pick you up if you don't win....
thats a completely WRONG statment............there are PLENTY of sponser out there, yes i believe it would be bettter if you raced, you DO NOT have to win, yes you would get better more higher brand sponsers, but the case for most sponsers is you have to run there product, like i have Hiper carbon fiber rear wheels, the only way Hiper will want to sponser me if i was running there product, so if i wanted to, i could prob get sponsered by hiper
or i run renthal bars so i could prob get sponsered
and consider your family as your biggest sponser man! lol, they support you, ahah idk, i hope they support you, lol

AND i forgot sumthing, like monster energy drinks, you cant really run there product on your quad BUT you can get monster riding gear or put alot monster stickers on your quad, see they sponser you but you gotta advertise there product, this is just an example
yah, hopefully next year when i start racing i can get monster to sponsor me, i wonder if i can get any local stores to sponsor me in the ironman this year???
How about local events? like mudfest and contests I mean sure i race but i was just wondering if you could get a sponser for advertising them at local events
you need 2 things to start, a proposal and a resume. Sponorship is about advertising, not helping you. You need a good proposal, telling the company what you can do for them, include demographics, the series you want to race, avg attendance at the races, media coverage atc. You dont have to win, you do need to be consistant and professional. your bike and you need to look professional, a dirty bike held together with duck tape and zipties will get you no where. Covering your bike with every sticker known to man will get you nowhere. A sponsor is buying advertising. He is paying in cash or product for you to put his stickers on your bike. having non sponsor stickers on your bike detracts from that value. Search out sponsors besides bike parts... I was sponsored by cruis america for a while, they rent motorhomes. they would give me a motorhome to use for every race and a banner to hang of it in the pits. I was also sponsored by a resteraunt.. (free food = more money for the bike)
hmmm, i wonder if i could get a sponsor just for 1 race, because i'm only doin the ironman this year, i'm gonna check around
