i just got a 92 blaster today for a couple bones and it has a crack in the left side motor casing. take a look at the pick and tell me if its weldable? it looks like they tried to apoxy it but it didnt hold. could i jb weld it somehow or do i need to take it to a shop and have them weld it shut?

also when i took the exhaust pipe off oil poured out and there was motor oil on the top of the piston. i read somewhere that there is a little gasket behind the main drive gear but cant find the thread anymore. does anyone know what the gasket is called so i can order it?

having it welded up by a shop will be the best option, but guys on here have good luck with jb weld or qwik steel

Jb weld or quicksteel.Sand the are really good and make sure no oil is on it and it will work. You may have to put some thin aluminum over the hole first to keep it from falling in.A good welder could fix it up nicely also.
