honeing questions

If you have no major damage then a honing shoudl be fine.You will need a WISECO PRO LITE piston and rings(should come with it),new top end gasket kit set,and the wrist pin bearing should be changed also.Should be able to get all the parts for that setup for under $140.Then add honing.Also spend a few extra and buy the WISECO piston kit wich only comes in a pro lite do not buy any other brand.
 
If you get it honed you will be able to keep your same piston size.If you need a bore it will need to go up.Either way you need a new piston,etc.
 
i wouldn't reuse your stock piston just because they are crappy cast. i would just sped the money where its needed. i am sure if you reused the piston you would be making another thread a month from now 'why did my motor seize' ya know.. 145 sounds good for a bore and a hone. i would do that and replace all the top end gaskets and you should be good to go..
