I need some opinions.I need to hold the inner clutch hub on my banshee still to pull the nut.I want to weld a piece of bar stock to 1 of the old clutch steels and use that. Will it work?

If you took at least 4 steel plates and then weld (tack) them to 1/8" x 1" flat stock, I could see that working. Bend the stock around the plates at least half the diameter, weld (tack) in multiple locations for strength and using a material thicker for a handle.

Well, if you have a fukt clutch lying around, bolt a inner and outer together a coin in between the gears, and its loose!

I never had a spare cluch, so I made a tool, will go take a pic nwnw and post it here for you. Its something worth having...
The other tools are for a gy6 variator and clutch removal (also fits on blaster flywheel)
Excuse the condition, as its taken years of abuse, hehe

Flywheel puller, for stripped center threads.

Oil seal removal tool.

Clutch center holding tool.

Flywheel/holding tool.

I made a set for my buddy..... a steel and fiber with a couple small 4mm bolts/nuts thru them, works like a champ.
placed some small wood blocks in behind them to protect the basket and drilled the holes with the 2 plates in place to insure alignment.

he couldn't figure out how my tusk clutch tool worked
so i took him a no brainer :p
