ok, so you may know i got a free parts blaster, last night i mounted the motor to the frame, started cleaning it and when i got to the bottom of the motor, i saw a hole, smaller than a dime in the case. its only one side of the case, so i guess i could just replace one side and rebuild it, but do i have to? will jb weld work for that or is there pressure? this holoe is near the oil drain plug, about two inches away, ill post pics later tonight.

i took of the oil drain plug and inspected the residue on the tip of the bolt, it was silver and shiny, like metal dust.

when i inspect the gears/tranny, how do i know if they are good?

tell me what i can do please.

and if ya dont find one or wanna chance it, dont use jb weld, i've seen that sh*t melt and mix with the oil, jb must stand for junk bullshit, way better stuff is called
"quick steel" epoxy putty, this stuff gets so hard you can drill and tap it, i patched a small hole in the case of my sons lakota with it, and it's holdin up good, no leaks
