High RPM idle

yea theres a a screw on the choke side thats a flat head screw with a bolt in side adjust the flathead untill it idles nice than tighten the nut so the idle wont be all over rep point?

i think you're thinkin of the air screw. this adjusts the amount of air fed into the pilot circuit and needs to be tuned the pilot jet. this will be affected mainly by altitude, temp and barometric pressure.
the idle control is a large thumbscrew w/ a slot in it. it lives between the tank and the seat. remove the seat and you'll see it right under the tank.
unless of course your carb is not the stocker or you did the full tors removal w/ a new carb cap.

well thats not there that was removed when the TORS was removed - there is like a lil screw opposite the choke side i dont wanna mess with it though - i dont wanna mess anything up

are you sure your air srew is adjusted properly ?? the air screw is on the choke side directly on your carb ... to adjust it right you need to tighten the screw and then unsrew it of a turn and a half... you could check to make sure it's adjusted correctly first... because I had that high idle problem too and found out my air screw was not adjusted...

make sure when you turn the air/fuel screw in that when you get to where it stops DO NOT tighten it excessively , easy does it. if you tighten it too much there is a good chance of ruining its operation/functionability

No rep point for you coreyownz. That is not the idle screw, idle screw is under the seat, possibly under a rubber flap.

know this thread is old but wanna make a point if u got a tors remover kit the idle screw ends up on the carb with a vitos tors eliminator
