high idle

as soon as I kick my blaster over it revs up insanley high. I was riding it and it just started happening could the carb just need to be cleaned or is there a bigger problem that could be causing it

sounds like an air leak you sould leak test before you do any more ridding

could be dirt in the pilot jet, float level, airscrew adjustment, or worse....an airleak.

make sure #2 top cover did not come loose,on carb
check it with your hand...
if it comes loose it will pin itself/just like full open throttle

Thanks for all the advice there was a good size chunk of crud under the main jet and the top cover was loose

glad you got it sorted
make sure you have the locking tab on the top cover/it really needs to be there
apparently i need to add that cuz it is not listed in diagram as a part# anyways
