ok well ran into another problem tongiht well should say problems... k so i got the carb dialed in perfect she runs like a dream but first go at ti the starting gear shattered so got that replaced and works great got it started once again and now its stuck neutral the clutch has tension but when i try to pop it into 1st or 2nd it wont budge and bogs the motor i did notice that when i pull on the clutch the clutch cable shaft pulls up some is that a problem?

Sounds like the cable is out of adjustment bro- should have about the thickness of a nickel on the clutch lever, That's called free-play!

The clutch arm can move a little up but should too much, check to see if the cable end is in the little holder tab on the cylinder.

I think SLICKERTHANYOU nailed it on the head, I had a very similar problem stemming from bad adjustments on my cable.
