hid headlights

For the HID, to run 2 you need to have the stator rewound and the ground floated, then wire in a rectifier and battery. Good light has much more to do with the quality of the reflector and lens then with bulb wattage. Those kits look like it would make life simpler than when I did mine. I had to due surgery on the lights and machine new bases for the bulbs to mount in and used the hid ballasts from a lincoln navigator.

i modded my stock bulbs on the brute for the hids.. heres what it looks like..
factory bulb drilled out and h3 hid bulb glued in..

siliconed the wires and gap from the back side so no water gets in.

now she pops right into the factory headlight..

and the bulbs are modded..

just waiting on my relay and wire harness then ill wire it up..

that mod is lookin good 305, just make sure you wipe them bulbs of any dirt/grease before running them

they came protected by a plastic cover i havent touched the bulb itself at all.. i know they will pop if you touch them.. the oils from your fingers will make em blow..

you think i would need to do that even with these small hid kits? the kits only use 35w of power..

true hid's only use 35 watts to keep lit, lighting them off intially takes a considerably more momentarily. the battery is what kicks them off.

Hell when I came back, Bluetraxx was dead and BlasterHQ no longer existed and I was like "WTF?.....Did the Blaster community completely die?"......did a google search for Blaster forums......and voila. Oh yea...nevermind. I remember when he got that.

I will sell my Blaster within the year probably just because I need the money....I'll be out of it for a while, but will get back into it and if that day was today I'd probably get something like a Banshee/250R and a KTM 525XC and just go all out on both of them.

I do think he picked up a YFZ and parted out the Blaster.
