For the HID, to run 2 you need to have the stator rewound and the ground floated, then wire in a rectifier and battery. Good light has much more to do with the quality of the reflector and lens then with bulb wattage. Those kits look like it would make life simpler than when I did mine. I had to due surgery on the lights and machine new bases for the bulbs to mount in and used the hid ballasts from a lincoln navigator.
