welcome, everything you said, also listen while shifting threw gears, also look at rockymoutainatv.com, ebay or talk to kennedy_power and see what a kit would cost. there are several site to get the rebuild kits on. jsut make sure the kit you are looking at comes with all the gaskets required. also if you are going to rebuild the motor order a oil injection kit block off and block off the oil pump while you are rebuilding it. you have to mix your gas from there on out but it will be worth it in the long run...welcome again

am I looking for a complete rebuild kit? Or just a top end kit?

Also would a blaster beat a stock 2006 honda recon?
That's primarily the other wheeler I would be riding around with and would like to be able to beat it in a race, lol.

of course it did lol did you expect him to give it away? i'd have paid the $400 in a heartbeat. i paid 700 for one in similar condition and $550 for one in worse condition.

lol ya ya. I liked it but at the same time wanted one in a different color and I didn't really like talking to the guy, kinda rude.
