Help please!!!!

hey guys today i brought my 06 blaster home and started it up for the 1st time in about 8 months. when it started, it sounded like a knock sound coming from the motor. now i don t know much about blasters, this is my 1st one, not sure if this is normal when its been sitting for so long. Help me please!! thanks!

Did it have any oil in it? Sounds like something has either came unwound or is fixing to come unwound.

did you just turn on the fuel and start wailing away on the kicker?.. i ALLWAYS kicks my machines over 5-6 times slowly before actually kickin hard enough to start them, no matter how long its been sitting

IF there is knocking at idle or low rpm the piston is rocking or "slapping" in the cylinder. u may need to re-ring it or bore and get new piston. if it is a clackidy clack sound i am certain this is the case. u will bust the piston skirt and have a big mess. do u have the oil injector on or do u premix? if u dont premix ur injection line could be clogged. or if u do premix ur oil,gas could have separated. fresh gas?

so will changing the oil, putting fresh gas, checking the oil injection, ect fix the problem? or does the motor have to come apart no matter what?

Just get rid of the mixer all together they lockup and cause the motor to blowup just take it all off and plug the lines the mix your gas as if you would for any other 2 stroke and if the noise is like a tinging sound coming from the motor then that is normal
