Hello, and thanks for reading.

I have a 2004 blaster, and I left it sitting almost all winter without doign anything to it =( and now it won't start. I cleaned the gas line out, checked the spark plug, and I can get it to start if i put gas in the chamber iwth the plug, but as soon as that burns off it dies.

I had the same issue last year, and the guy fixed it in like 10 minutes and charged me 90$, trying to avoid that this time around....

The problem is that gas is not getting to the spark plug, but I don't know how to fix that... I'm not very engine savvy... Any help would be apperciated... everything on my quad is stock as well.

Okay, I cleaned my carb, all went well..... but.

Now my throttle is un responsive, and still no start.... my throttle feels like it's simple hanging there, I can flick it and it goes all the way in and back out... its simply not doign anything... I followed that guide to the T.....

So now what?

Okay.... I fixed the Throttle, It runs now.... Cleaning the carb solved the starting issue....

On to my next one!!!!

Whenever I get going decently, 4 5 or 6th gear and let off the gas.... it dies.... Not sure what could be causing this.... I think it may be the pilot on the carb... gonna look into learning how to adjust it.

Could be your idle jet. 1.5-2 turns out from being all the way in is usually right were you want to be.
