i think is a stock eng. the book said 140 - 150 psi. checked my compression and its at 125 psi. is that good? the normal compression and it will start with one kick . it rev's up good but when i put it in 1st i have to give it alot of gas to go. then it bogs down so much i cant go fast enough to put it in 2nd.
it's like theres no power after i put it in 1st and its not sliping. can it be my reed, or jeting is bad????.

yeah could be carb problem because it revs/runs fine until you put it under load then has no power. clean your carb and make sure it's adjusted right.

sorry i dd posted this sorry about that.... OK my reed is fine and i took out the reed spacer. do i need to chang the jet needle seting? the book said poor acceleration is runing too rich. do i try better gas? remember it start/rev up fine , just when i put it in 1st. it bogs down really badand my compression is 125psi. i can use any help i'm try'in to go out sunday.

ok i replaced the reed / cleaned the carb. put 94 oct gas in it and still have the same problem. here is a video of my bike. thats full throttle in 1st gear pls...HELP.ME.

when did the problem start?? did it suddenly appear or did it appear after you worked on something??? if you added a parts performance or replace done with stock it may be jetting. Open up the top end and look at the piston and post up pics of it. I think your in need of a top end rebuild.

check that your brakes arent locking up...and i dont know what else, check your top end, only takes a few minutes to open u pthe top end and see the piston.

do u have a airbox lid on it?? if so take it off and try it, it sounds like its dumping fuel in and bogging down under a load, but idles and revs fine

Is the chain to tight when u sit on it, does it shift all the gears fine,an the piston top looked like it maybe rich whats the plug look like is it wet after u run it?

Sorry about that i did not look at the pics good, the piston looks to be backwards 4 real that's what i see in the pic its not breack in yet then.20 hrs to break it in.

what mix are you running for oil to gas in it. It also looks like you may need to have the cylinder honed and a new piston and rings put into it cuz thats what mine looked like when i replaced mine. Find out what jet needle setting you are on and what main jet is in it and what size the bore is and let us know.

your right the piston is in backwards. Take the circlips out of the piston and wrist pin and turn the piston around 180 degrees and it should run great.

Dude look at the pic the piston is backards the arrow goes to the exhaust side.

Yeha i noticed it after you mentioned it in the post just before mine. Thats why he isnt getting any power in gears cuz its not getting the fuel at the right time. If you listen to the video it doesnt have the normal sound of a blaster but more of a chainsaw.
