05 blaster all stock have the tors plugged in and when I start it, It reves WOT. And i have to kill it. Now if i plug the unplug the tors it doesn't do that but it won't idle. Any ideas guys?

so your tors unit is screwed up and you have to remove it. but the idle system is part of that tors unit on top of the carb, so you need to get a idle kit i belive. maybe someone else knows a way. new carb or idle kit i think are the only options. unless the idle isnt part of the electronics of the tors system.

one of ours did that and it turned out that the airbleed screw was not adjusted correctly allowing a lean burn detonation at idle. Does yours shut off with the kill switch when it does this or do you have to kill it with the clutch in 1st gear?

What and where is the airbleed screw? i only had gas in the bowl of carb so it reved till it ran out of gas.

Unplug the tors and start it up and adjust the udle like u would any other time with the knob on the tors system it stil works

when you run it out of gas it leans out the motor causing it to rev high.

Yeah my YFZ does the samething, But its not that. See my gas tank is in the process of being cleaned out (long story) so I filled the carb bowl and fuel line up with mixed fuel and as soon as you kick it over.....WOT!! just like you are pushing the thumb throttle all the way down. The thumb throttle housing is fine so is the cable and slide. Now, soon as I unplug the tors fill the carb bowl back up it doesn't do that. It won't idle but it doesn't "rev to the moon"I:I

is ur throttle cable moving freely, try taking off the air boot to the carb and see if the slide is hanging up, try starting it, and watch the slide, could also be a bad cable?

Yeah slide is fine and so is the cable. I'm gonna override the tors. Anyone know what the stock needle clip is?

mine did that too, i removed my tors and then theres a screw towards the lower back of carb ( flat head) screw it in ALL THE WAY than do 2 and 1/2 turns out then kick her over and adjust accordingly.. if you have a revolution checker thingy you can use that and look up the specs for the proper idle speed. (atleast thats how lawnmowers work)
