i have a go pro wide hd helmet cam, it does very good on video quality but you just about have to turn your speaker all the way up to hear the vids (the biggest downfall of go pro is their sound quality)

I have a go pro and i love it! no problems at all and my sound works great.

you have it on the wrong sound setting, you just have to switch the HI/low adjustment.

GoPro HD Hero is the way to go. 5 different modes, best being 1080p @ 30 FPS. Here is a video I made with on. All of the shots on the car were with it.
