Hey guys. I am glad I found this site. I just bought a 2000 blaster this weekend and its running great now. I am new to all this so.... The guy I bought this thing from told me he just did a rebuild and new clutch. Its a 30 overbore. Can you guys tell me what kind of life I can get from this motor and what is involved in do the topend again since its been done 30 over?
Thanks Jamie

if its tuned well and maintained correctly you can get years out of that cylinder, and then you just go 40 over next time

You can probably get a lot of life out of that cylinder before its done, the biggest overbore on a stock cylinder is .80 after that the cylinder walls are so thin that overheating is an issue. Wen it comes to rebuilding the topend you usually have to bore and hone it then get a new piston the price runs about $200 total
