Hello,

My name is Gerald and I am new to this sight to try and get some answers to my questions. I am looking at getting a used 2000 Blaster and the guy says it needs a expansion chamber I am going to ask him some more question about it but he is only asking $450 for it and I am wondering if anything, what would I need to do to get this thing running and maybe make it my project to build a sweet running blaster. PLease HELP

is there no pipe at all, or if so why does it need a new one, does it start or run at all, you could do a compression check, look for 120 psi and above, lower than 100 psi and its gonna need at least some rings if not top end rebuilt<< no biggie
how's the plastics and tires, stand it up and make sure the frame looks straight
if so grab it

Thanks man I am going to ask the guy some more questions about it today. I am new to this whole ATV thing but I feel after buying my first home and raising a fmily now on a little bit of land. Daddy needs a toy of his own!!! Any more suggestion on what to look for on it?

give it a good go over....as long as everything is strait you should be good...nothing a little paint and waaaalaaaaa like new.....450 + 800 in AM parts and paint you could have a nive looking and running bike

Welcome to the forum bro.

First up grades would be an exhaust, air filter, rejet, take air box lid and cover it with panty hose, remove the oil injection and the T.O.R.S. if already not done.

Oh and I would say a good set of nerf bars too.......

DG exhaust is just stock with chrome. fmf is a small step above that.(<Don't do it) LRD, F7(Power Pros), Toomey, and Shearer will be suggested to you. go with what you can afford and what you like according to your own research. besides exhaust DG makes some nice bumpers and grab bars though. I would also suggest used stuff over new(IMO) because your money will go further and most of the time its about 2/3s the price of new. check out the GOOD DEALS thread! people post deals they find on there all the time. and the for sale section! welcome to the forum! hope to see you around!

the GOOD DEALS thread is in the OFF-TOPIC section. you could also do a front wheel flip and get some wheel spacers to make it a little more stable. Just a Thought
