Get crazy. Its yours, paint what you want to paint.

When I get mine back together I'm going to strip it down(I know, it makes no sence) and paint everything but the plastic. even the bar clamps

I am also thinking about painting the tips of the fins on the jug and head in high-temp blue. you could even paint the axle.:D

i am going to go out on a limb and say you dont know what anodizing is.
it isn't a type of paint. and you dont anodize carbon steel or iron. this process is normally done on aluminum parts. anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts.

also about the other things. i am pretty sure you cant take the springs off the front shocks. and red, blue, black and gold isn't going to be the best matching color scheme.
should have left the rims black, paint your a-arms, bumper, frame, red.

this is what krylon X-metals can do for ya if you TAKE YOUR TIME AND PREP IT FLAWLESSLY!!! lol its important to prep it good lol I:I
