So im trying to put new wiseco crank bearings in. I have tryed with a torch 3 times with no success. So now I am going to try to bake the case at 275 for 20min and try to set the bearings. Will this work? should I let it bake longer so I use higher heat? Help please ready to take a hammer to the case and buy a Honda... Just kidding on the Honda part.

Use a press, a hydraulic press

WHAT! you are kidding! Put the bearings in the freezer for an hour, heat the case up where the bearings go in after that hour is up drop the bearings in they will drop right in let the cases cool down, use compressed ari and blow dry the bearings, put some 2-stroke oil on them to keep from rusting, spin them a few times then finish assembly with the proper tools! NO HAMMER!

Kinda kidding, what I did was freeze the bearings overnight, but they wouldn't "drop" into the case so with just a tiny bit of pressure from the press they slid right in

Finally. It worked. I had to bake the case and freeze the bearings and
bada boom done...... No Hammer time. Thanks guys

My old lady wouldnt let me bake my cases in the oven luckily i have a refridgerator in the garage so i tossed the bearings in over night and the next day took a map gas torch to the cases and they went right in.

Lucky MOFOS get to bake parts in the oven....

I slept on the couch last night. Wife was not home when I did it Apparently My wife is not a fan of baked blaster cases... LOL at least my bearings are in now.
