I am finishing cleaning up my wiring and down to just the headlight. I eliminated the HUGE stock light/kill switch on the hadlebars and installed a dirtbike style kill switch. For the headlight switch I bought a small lighted toggle that I am installing on the hood behind the headlight. My question is if I wire both the green and yellow wires to be "on" when I make the switch it will cause the high and low beams to be on at the same time. Will this draw too much current? I am also using the stock taillight.

You should be fine and it will not hurt your stator. i wired mine the same way.
