So after riding this past sunday I noticed that there was some oil coming from between the head and jug, took the pipe, gas tank and hood off for clearance issues, and noticed that I was missing a head nut. took the gasket off and could see where there was an oily trail from that hole to the front of the jug. Still had 110lbs of compression the last time I checked and ran good all day, checked the head for warpage and everything seems okay , but I'm gonna put my other head on just to be sure. I realize I will have to do a few heat cycles then retorque the nuts, but what im confused about is... What if I put some threadlocker on there? Will I be able to accurately retorque or will it throw off the torque because of the threadlocker? thanks in advance fellas

P.S. I have a new headgasket on the way fom cheapcycleparts, Im not trying to reuse the old gasket.

you can put some thread locker on it, but its not really necessary if you retorque them like you should after a couple heat cycles
