My clutch lever is so hard to pull where I have to almost use my weight by moving forward then pulling the lever while I move my body back to make it easier to pull. Also, when the lever is around 3/4 pull, it makes a click noise like it is slipping off of something. Does anybody know what would cause this?

If the clutch basket is worn is there a way to fix it besides replacing it because I really don't want to spend $150 or however much it costs.

Light filing to remove the grooves if they are not excessive. Nice video on YouTube mentioned that, was a video of someone rebuilding/replacing the clutch in a blaster, let me see if I can find it.

Try this...

Damn, watching it myself, I just realized what I didn't do...darn, now I gotta tear the clutch apart again. I forgot to bend down the washer on the nut so it doesn't spin off. :-[

Ok I'll take it off and see if it's binding at all, by wearing the main thing that would happen would be fraying, right?

they get dirt inside and make the casing and cable bind when a load is put on them, if it is free in strait line bend it, it should still work free or it's bad.
