ok here is a pic of what we have been trying to tell for a while now.
see the nub sticking out on the in side of the carb. that has to slide into the grove in this pic
see the grove down the whole side of the slide. the nub on the carb lines up with the grove on the slide while you get the needle in the brass whole in the bottom of the carb. make sure that nub is verticle. if not you need to adjust it. the slide will not go on it if it is not completely verticle
