Hello my brother has a Yamaha Blaster with a wiseco performance crank, rod and piston along with wiseco crank bearings. with a stock carb, all clean doesn't seem to be plugged anywhere, the problem is when he goes to push it past half throttle it basically looses its power, he has tons of power before half throttle, no matter what gear he is in it does this to him. id appreciate it if somebody could help us out, thanks!

he also has a vforce 2 power reed in it, that's what came with the quad when he bought it, after his purchase he put all the money into it with the wiseco parts.

Has it been leak tested? Stock carb? Jetting? What needle and what slot is the needle on? Clean air filter? Need some more info.

Did this just start happening or has it always been that way.

Could be a number of things.

Float level, fuel restriction, needle too lean, old gas.

Has it been leak tested?

its all stock, stock exaust with baffle, carb hasn't been touched, he just got it back togheter the other day after putting all the performance parts in the motor. at one point he had full throttle then it went away again. still a 200cc motor. he has plenty of response before half throttle the power ban and everything will kick in but once he pushes past half throttle it just kind of acts like there little to no power there, large power diffrence

Is clutch slipping? It sounds stupid but do you mean power or it just doesn't want to go? Also has it ben leak tested? It's prob not the clutch but I'm just asking...
