h.i.d on raptor

heres some pics of the hid kit we put on my girls raptor. there the "slim ballasts" 30,000K pink obv to
match the rest of her bike. they look realy good at night it looks like a street bike riding on the road
**my set comes in monday i got 12K im going to try and rig one up to the blasty I:I

oh ok cool but why didnt you use the stock headlight housing with one bulb one ballasts??

Im going to run a "stock" size bulb so that it just plugs right in to the 03' headlight, it should look wicked

these took 10 mins to put on her bike no relay no batt hookup, plug and play!

because the stock light is garbage. The quality of light emmited is much more dependent on the quality ofthe reflector and lens than bulb wattage. The lights I used are Cibie super oscar europeon rally lights. I had to machine adapters to make the hid bulbs fit and sit at the proper depth.

i can always see perfectly with my 03 and up light on night trails even with the poop flashlight bulb it comes with...
the 03' and up stock headlight is awesome! its made just like any streetbike or car even (just like my gfs raptor lenses) HID bulbs are so bright you dont need to worries about the lens its in.

but have some reps points for having the worlds biggest blaster lights I:I

yes they do the bulb size is 'h6m' and it will clip right in to your headlight just like the factory bulb (this is for 03-06 lights not sure if older ones are the same)

im going to try and hook mine up tonight to see if it works good w/o a relay or batt power...

i'll def let you guys kno later tonight when i get off work

he was also racing the Baja 1000 on that blaster and needed all of that light
