I did everything everyone said. Added a fuel filter, cleaned out the carb (four times now), I even adjusted the float. I emptied some gas into a cup, and the gas looked ok. I have compression, I have spark. The carb is clean, air filter is clean. HELP!

Do you have tors on the bike?

Im not sure...I bought the bike used and it came with a Keihin Carb, and no parking brake. I think the TORS is a little black box above the carb, but I dont remember seeing one. Makes sense if it still has it, but what am I looking for?

Well with that carb you wont have the tors then, just getting that out of the way. You would have an electrical wire going to the carb if you did, and its unhooked properly since it ran before. When you adjusted the float did you do it according to the keihin specs?

yeah, I went to their site and did it to their specs. I just dont know why it ran great for six weeks, then decided to do this. Its wierd how if I let it sit, its will start up and then die. But after that, it will no longer start.

You have a hard one to solve, everything I was going to suggest you already did. If something was wrong you would think id would run for a few minutes not weeks. Maybe your cdi is going bad. The key could be sheared or the timing slightly off. Maybe a weak spark what color is it? you want white or blue nothing toward orange.
