okay well as most of you know i blew the blaster up again. and it cracked the sleeve. so i was at point a again. well thanks to budget blaster my uncle bought a .010 fresh bored jug for 145 with a head. haven't received it yet. but gonna measure the clearance and then hone it if have to for a wiseco piston clearance. recommended by ken to run a simple clearance. so now at point b. waiting for jug. and waiting to pull the bottom end apart to clean all the old piston out and check crank seals and bearings. so gotta re port it all. and then go from there

Isn't that topend only like a month old? :O

not even was only like 3 weeks. only ran it for 3 days. stupid freaking temp dropped like 25 it was 17 degrees out here that day and it didnt even feel like it one i was out rideing. it was running perfect. as soon as i hit the power band the front tires would come up. but gotta learn the hard way. REJET!!! llol

Done the same thing last winter. Only had it a month, never checked jetting. Stealership took me for €500 ($666) for a topend, they didn't even split the cases.

I've no idea. Knew nothing about anything this time last year. Just dropped it off and picked up the hefty bill. Last time I will ever go back their.

oh well you dont have to split every time. you can flush the bottom end out. but its safer to split and go over it.

It is advisable to split cases and impecabily clean any motor that has suffered a piston break or a hole in the crown or extensive ring/land damage

This is most important if the piston was a cast one, as fine abrasive particles that come from the breaking of cast, may be lurking in the bearings, and just flushing will not remove them.

yea not spliting the case is not a good idea with a cast for sure. spkiting the case is always a very good idea if a ring breaks, a hole in the piston, broken skirt, ect.

Unfortunately, A-Arm bushings are going to be pretty pricey.
and i know thats the bad thing:(

so came to a a halt. for a bit well cylinder will be here tommorow. and went to my uncles 2day and and looked at my old cyl and heres what i seen.:(
