ok guys i got my f7, power pro, ct, what ever you want to call it pipe lol.....

and i must say i am very very very inpmressed with the power gain from the pipe.

but it is very very quiet...... my factory head pipe with a power core 2 pipe was louder. i m not really liking it. i get the ting ting from the pipe, but the sound just isnt there.....

i m not looking for a screaming quad, but some sound would be nice..... any thoughts anyone?

i ride on my own property that is 60 acres + the surrounding neighbors with huge farms, so i have 100's and 100's of acres to ride on and no one to bother me.

please any help would be apreciated. thanks

Yeah I did the jetting I put the 280 in that came with and ended up going down to a 260 runs really good, just not impressed with the sound.......

I tried taking the silencer apart, and it won't budge

i believe you have to drill out the rivets to get the end off the silencer on these pipes. i have one, but am too lazy to look right at the moment. and a 260 main jet seems small to me?

Already done........ 270 sorry typo lol............seens to run good, rode it for 3 hrs after I did it and no problems......

I drilled all rivets out and it still won't come apart........ I m gonna see if I can put the power core 2 on it tonight and see how it sounds.......

use a vise grip on the tip and move up around while pulling it out. like up and down left and right. should finally coming out.

All of the f7 pipe's I've heard sound good... I like my toomey sound better but I definitely wouldn't complain about the f7 sound. Has a nice twang and power behind it. They definitely weren't quiet either. Maybe call f7 themselves and see what's up.

Ok maybe it is just me then...... I thought it would be louder.

One thing though...... I see most pipes have some kind of rubber coupler where the head pipe goes into silencer pipe...... This does not and it leaks there??????? Any ideas on that?

well if the pipe is new than thats your prob bro, all new exhaust pipes (even on cars) have to resinate first before you hear its full sound potential.
its the best pipe out there

for the rubber go to autozone and get a 3/4" radiator hose it will work great

the silancers are a biotch to get apart, even for me, but i threw it back together with no packing just to see what it sounded like, holy sh*t, it sounded like taters drag pipe, it was obnoxiously loud, but still sounds good with packing in it, and holler at me if ya end up liking the fmf better, i could use another f7 silencer
