Goodbye Topend!

ouch, im assuming the metal was part of the c-clip? those things can launch if you dont control them.

its not your week bud, but look (mind the pun) on the bright side, at least your one eye is now protected from other flying debris

It was a shard of aluminum either from the piston or the head. And yea nothing else is getting past this patch its solid lol. Im kinda getting used to this eye patch look

they use that drill to clean anything out that may be left behind, had the same thing done, but no eye patch. it sucks!!!!

Yea I had no clue they could do that sort of thing without causing some serious damage. The dr said they were gonna drill my eye and i was like WTF!

Yea thats kinda my philosiphy. my 2001 jeep cheerokee has a 6in lift and 33's and lockers front and rear. i live in Oklahoma so i gotta have somthing lifted or the rednecks talk to much crap on my minis lol

Yeah i got the 4x4 in my sig its not lifted but still fun in the mudd. But i had a s10 that i traded for it i loved it. I want the obs dime again. My dream one would be a short bed reg cab, leather/fiberglass interior with a system, bagged and draggin with chrome iroc rims, and a tpi motor with obviously some nice exhaust not glasspacks, something like magnaflow with a good deep non crackle tone.

Seems like i have heard about the pin falling out before atleast you got another cyl to throw on there. tho.

^^^^ Yea that be a sweet truck. Ive always liked Iroc rims, was thinking about putting some replicas on my Blazer. And yea ive got that 240 topend to put on once i go through the bottom. Been kinda having some crazy engine swap ideas though Ive got an extra 84 Honda 250R engine and a 2001 Suzuki GSXR 750 motor sitting in my garage so i dunno may do somthing crazy with this blaster. On the other hand ive got too many projects already I need to finish my LT500 and Blazer before i get commited to anything like that.

I would tweak sh*t on Wiseco. Call them up see if they will help you out beyond warranty stuff. The piston failed, that shouldn't happen.
