good top end porting?

i might be getting my quad ported soon and im thinking about an agressive trail port from flotek.... but im wondering what porting would be good... i ride trails mostly but like some power up top

not sure what you mean?? are you looking for actual port timing specs?

if you've decided to send it to flotek, just give them a call and tell them what you want, they should be able to hook you up no problem

oh.... i was just wondering...theyre are different types of port "arrangments" for lack of a better word, agressive trail, drag, dune, ect... i was wondering which would give good mid to top end power... but when i do decide to get mine ported ill just ask flotek if its that simple lol... thanks for the help... rep

yeah.... im gonna get my jug and head setup for top end power bec idk when but eventually im gonna get a right bend... probs gonna get a few to try out... the few i got in mine r powerpros, dynoport (high volume or mid-top?), and f7

you really need to know what pipe you're going to have, some engine builders will tailor the port timing to a specific pipe to really make it scream

i would tell them what you want to do, then ask what parts (reeds, carb, pipe, whether to advance the timing etc....) would be the best for what you want to do.
