Just trying to find the truth about the rear mechanical blaster break used from 88-02.

my brake works fine, but if it is not cleaned good, quite frequently, thats when that sh*t seizes up and craps out, kinda of a bad design IMO , but top of the line back in 1988

I got NO! issues with any of the OE brakes on my Blaster!

well it seems im loosing. my brakes a piece of sh*t. im about to hurl it down the street. waiting on a set of hydros from black--blaster. dont know where he is though...

I take it yours still are not working. or are you still looking for that piece for the cable?

Granted they are not the best design. But if you maintain them, they will work, but never as good as a hydraulic set-up.

Mine never worked i just took them off...

its all about maintaining(dont know if its written well) them. mine work perfect,they stop my rear tires from rolling when i push,jsut like the hydros, the improtant thing is that they stop the rear from spinnin.
