good deal?

Alright so I just traded for a blaster that has a broken frame under the seat area so the seat doesn't latch right and I can't install a grab bar. It also has ghetto rigged front suspension.

So my plan is to pick up this rolling chassis for $200. It has everything except the engine and carb and he says the frame is straight. It is an 00 but I will swap my hydraulic brakes from the other quad as well my motor and exhaust into this frame.

Do you think this is a good deal?

He is also giving some riding pants and jersey.

$200 is a little high for a chassis, IMO, but demographics do play a role, However having spare good a-arms, swinger, tires, rims, wires, is a bonus!

plastics/tires/seat are all useable and all bearings/bushings check out useable too

Alright so I got two deals right now...which one should I go for?

I got the guy with the rolling frame down to 150..here are pics.

Or I got this guy who will sell me his blaster that is missing the exhaust and random bolts but supposedly has good compression for 185.

I would go with the last one for $185 seeing that it comes with a motor.

confirm it has good compression and buy the second one,
it has decent runable tires on it

As long as the engine checks out on the blue one, get it! You won't regret having a spare engine in running order.

I was thinking about selling the motor to make some money back but I might just keep it to build slowly...port/head work/stroker (maybe)

In my opinion, it doesn't matter if the motor needs a new top end or not.$185 is a good deal just for the motor alone.

yea ^^ id go with the one with the motor cuz one its extra motor pats ect. but that a hell of a deal. also have a chassie with good a arms and shocks and swinger and stuff id take 150 does not have wheels and tires and the rear plastics are in rough shape. but idk what shippin or how to ship it but i would deffinatly go with the 185 with the motor.

yea i no its like i posted a whole engin for 400 + shippin and it needs a trans putin it or something with the trans and i was goin to throw ina complete trand and everyone on here stared goin nuts.

Well I bought the blaster for 185 tonight. Engine has good compression. Hopefully start swapping my parts over after this weekend.

I plan on sand blasting and painting the frame and a arms. I can't decide on the color though. Midnight purple pearl that will be left over from my car or a black frame with lime green a arms?

That Purple would look killer on the plastics. Just add a flex agent to it.
