hi guys,

i sold my blaster awhile ago and have been just reading around the forum. ive got a 1979 atc110 in my garage and im trading it for 2001 blaster with a seized top end from running it too lean. everything else is in decent shape, not the prettiest thing but its all there. he wants the 3 wheeler for his son.

is there a thread that shows you how to rebuild your top end and if the skirts are shattered do i have to split the cases to clean it out?

missed my blaster so much i just couldnt be without one lol

yeah i hope the piston is just seized

is there a way to tell what the bore on the cylinder is so that i can get it bored or reseleeved if it needs it?
 
will a vernia caliper work? it measures the tenth, hundredth, and thousands of an inch
 
does the piston not say the size ( i know its prolly all black but try to clean it off) usually it tells ya if its close to 68mm you might wanna resleeve it or you can get the 240 big bore which bumps it to about 72mm

lol yea im usealy up late but yea that would work if it dosnt say on the pisten but go around the the in circles and make sure ur getten a strait accrost reading and keep going around till u see a couple hits of the same number to make sure i barrowed a nice eletric micromider from my dads work
