hey every one. i need some opinions on gasket kits for my blaster. i rebuilding the motor and ive been shopping around for a complete gasket kit. i have found a couple good deals and i just want to know what you guys think of the brands i found. one is a namura. ive never used them before but ive heard of them. the other is a K&S technologies. ive never heard of them but they say they have been around over 30 years. help me out please. i got to get one ordered asap. thanks.:-/

any more opinions? come on guys. its between the namura and k&s kits. which one? i have always used cometic but im on an extremely tight budget and every penny counts. times are tuff.

i just put a set of k&s in mine. my friend just rebuilt his quadzilla and he used a k&skit for a big bore. so if the k&s will hold up to big bore quadzilla power than i would think they are good for lil blastys.

do i need to get a gasket kit specifically for the size piston going in? im putting in a 68mm piston.(.080 over) or do most of them work up to a certain size?

K and S are scrap suitable for only toilet paper .they are made of pressed paper you dont need an engineering degree to see that a high quality thin coated steel gasket like Cometic will be a much better blowout free design ,considering the pressure in a oily hot corrosive environment they are the only way to go .id never price shop for gaskets ,just buy the best and youll have peice of mind . cometic has been a industry leader in gaskets for years .sometimes theres only a small price difference .but there can be a big quality difference in a product

im doing a top end on my buddies ktm 144, yeah strange size, but wasnt having any luck finding anything for it, called cometic and the guy was real helpful, and hooked me up with a kit for right around the same price as some junk ones i came across
cometic all the way
