gas leak

My gas is just leaking out of my over flow on my carb. I took the carb apart and the rebuilt it. Its still leaking! Is the other option a new needle and seat? After i rebuilt the carb it wouldnt start. Would it start with a new needle and seat?

I always change needle"fuel valve" and seat with rebuild, thats where i find all the problem with blaster and banshee carbs, you can usually tell when you pull the bowl off, check if your float moves up and down and see if needle moves freely then i would take the floats off and then both fuel valve and seat for wear or dry rot on rubber, I have had alot of problems with fuel valve sticking after they sit

I agree with OOblasterRESTO on this problem although you may have not set the float back right either,
