hi i wanted to know if anyone has any idea on what the gap should be for the spark plug on a high performance blaster motor on 92 octane fuel. please help thanks.

The specs call for.028 in the manual an according to the manufacturers of the plugs. This also depends what you mean by high performance? Your defination and others could vary widely. I run my mixture at 24-1. This has nothing to due with it running to rich. I read a article where they ran a test on fuel/oil mixtures. They ran 20, 24,and 28 to one. At 28-1 they discovered very minor scuffs on the piston. They decided not to run the 32-1 due to this fact. Also as far as horsepower, I can't remember this. I will look it up and post it. The best thing to do is a plug chop. I would start at .026 and only go to .030. Remember any change to motor at all you should re-jet carb from what iv'e read. Good luck!
